Celebrate New Year’s Eve with Stingray DJAZZ! Especially for you, Da Pá Virada Sessions in São Paulo, Brazil has produced a Latin New Year’s Eve Special. This festive evening is opened by the duo of vocalist Giana Viscardi and guitarist Gustavo Marques, who combine the best of two continents in their brilliant Afro-Brazilian jazz. Paulo Novaes, a twenty-something who has already lived a lifetime of music, continues the evening. Novaes, an all-round artist whose creativity is enjoyed in many forms, sings and plays original compositions. After this relative newcomer, veteran singer and guitarist Filó Machado hits the stage to perform his unique, sparkling brand of Latin jazz during this New Year's Eve special. Rounding off the evening – and bringing in the new year! – are the three gentlemen of Trio Macaíba. Their traditional instrument combination and extensive cultural research contributes to the authenticity of their joyful and heart-warming music. After starting their career together, Giana Viscardi and Gustavo Marques released music in many places around the world. After returning to Brazil, they worked together on Giana's album "ORUM", performing in Africa, Europe, and Brazil. In this New Year's Eve special, presented by Da Pá Virada Sessions and Stingray, Giana Viscardi and Gustavo Marques perform conductor and arranger Letieres Leite's arrangements of their work with Orchestra Rumpilezz. Enjoy their fantastic Afro-Brazilian jazz, which combines the best of various continents.

One of the artists taking part in this series is Paulo Novaes. Coming from a family of musicians, Paulo Novaes has already lived through a lifetime of music in spite of his young age. Paulo is the cousin of singer Bruna Caram, with whom he performed in São Paulo, Madrid, Barcelona, Lisbon, and other major cities. As a singer, composer, and instrumentalist, his creativity is enjoyed in many forms. With three albums out and his song 'Perdoa' reaching over 20 million streams on Spotify, he steps into the spotlights time and time again. Now Da Pá Virada Sessions and Stingray present Paulo Novaes in this New Year's Eve special, which was recorded in Paulo's native city of São Paulo.

One of the artists taking part in this series is Filo Machado. Born in São Paulo, this singer, composer, instrumentalist, arranger and producer has celebrated many musical successes. Filo Machado took part in saxophonist Jane Bunnett's Canadian tour with her spectacular project 'Rendez-Vous Brazil/Cuba'. He has appeared at the jazz festivals of Córsega and Uzeste and opened for the one and only Nina Simone in Cannes. In this New Year's Eve special, presented by Da Pá Virada Sessions and Stingray, Filo Machado performs his uniquely sparkling Latin jazz.

One of the bands taking part in this series is Trio Macaíba, consisting of Beto Corrêa (accordion), Cléber Almeida (zabumba, a type of bass drum), and Ramon Vieira (triangle). Their use of a traditional instrument combination, as well as cultural research, which all members of the group are dedicated to, contributes to the authenticity of the music and their experience as musicians.
