DECEMBER PREMIERES: NORTH SEA JAZZ FESTIVAL

SUNDAYS THROUGHOUT DECEMBER AT 21:00 CET

Every Sunday evening throughout December, Stingray DJAZZ premieres new concerts at 21:00 CET. This month, special attention goes to the North Sea Jazz Festival’s archives. The festival itself is the largest indoor music festival in the world, known globally as the event where the past, present and future of jazz are featured in three days' time. Next to a firm base of jazz as the festival’s staple music genre, many other genres, such as blues, soul, funk, or hip hop, pass by. Enjoy James Brown’s funky performance on December 6, followed by Lionel Hampton and his orchestra’s swinging concert on December 13. Tune in for some serious vocal wizardry by Mel Tormé with Avro's Big Band on December 20, and watch the legendary Miles Davis and his Septet on December 27 – each at 21:00 CET on Stingray DJAZZ!
