MARCH PREMIERES: NORTH SEA JAZZ FESTIVAL

SUNDAYS THROUGHOUT MARCH AT 21:00 CE(S)T

Every Sunday evening throughout March, Stingray DJAZZ premieres new concerts at 21:00 CE(S)T. This month, special attention goes to the North Sea Jazz Festival’s archives. The festival itself is the largest indoor music festival in the world, known globally as the event where the past, present and future of jazz are featured within three days. Next to a firm base of jazz as the festival’s staple music genre, many others, such as blues, soul, funk, or hip-hop, pass by. Enjoy two soulful performances: one by the Stanley Clarke Band on March 7, and one by The Crusaders on March 14. Tune in for a true guitar showdown by the trio of Barney Kessel, Charlie Byrd, and Herb Ellis on March 21. Finally, don’t miss out on a performance by the legendary vocal group The Manhattan Transfer on March 28 - all on Stingray DJAZZ at 21:00 CE(S)T!
